Symbiopsychotaxiplasm
I found Symbiopsychotaxiplasm to be very entertaining, since it was like a view into the past 60's counterculture. Even if a person couldn't necessarily follow what exactly was going on, the rants and tangents the crew/characters went on in search of "truth" (how 60s) was enough to make you keep watching the film. It was a film within a film, a piece with a lot of layers. In one aspect it is teh making of a film, yet it is also a film crew's struggle with a difficult director, and in another aspect it's about a director pulling the puppet strings. I liked how each sequence ended with the film running out. I also thought it was interesting that the filmmaker played around with different videographic techniques, like the frames shrinking into a sequence of frames against a black background, like a film reel.
